ADHD Assessment

A comprehensive virtual evaluation with your licensed Ontario Nurse Practitioner. Includes a thorough platformal interview covering your history and current symptoms, the platformal standard ADHD rating scales, review of your medical and developmental background, and more. A formal written assessment report is delivered within two weeks of your appointment.

Treatment Plan Review

Once your report is complete, you are welcome to book a focused appointment to review your results with the provider. This is where you discuss your diagnosis, understand the findings, and — if the required results have been submitted beforehand — explore medication options as a part of your personalized treatment plan.

Ongoing Medication Management

If medication has been determined to be a safe and appropriate part of your care, you may choose to continue with Calebra for ongoing medication management or return to your primary care provider. If you choose to continue with Calebra, regular follow-up appointments will keep your treatment optimized. Progress reviews, prescription renewals, dosage adjustments — all virtual, all on your schedule. Frequency varies from every two weeks to every three months depending on stability.

No referral needed. You book directly with Calebra online. Our licensed Ontario Nurse Practitioners are fully authorized to assess and diagnose ADHD independently — no GP required.
Calebra is a private platform and our services are not covered by OHIP. However, many extended health benefit plans cover private ADHD assessments. We provide receipts for all appointments for insurance submission. Our assessment is $450 — significantly less than traditional private psychiatric evaluations.
As a private platform, most Calebra clients are seen within days of booking. Compare this to the Ontario public system, which can involve waitlists of 6 months to 3+ years for a psychiatric referral.
Yes. Our licensed Ontario Nurse Practitioners have full prescribing authority and can prescribe both stimulant medications (methylphenidate-based like Concerta and Biphentin, and amphetamine-based like Vyvanse and Adderall XR) and non-stimulant options. Medication is only considered after a full assessment and treatment plan review.
